Sew Mama Sew is encouraging craft bloggers to have a give-away on December 3, so I'm taking part. I'm not going to have time to post until tomorrow afternoon, and since it's already December 3 on the east coast, I thought I'd get mine up before I forget about it. I'm not really sure if I count as a craft blogger, but do they really care, as long as I have a give-away?
Here's what I'm giving away...

It's a wristlet key fob (just one, but you can choose... sort of). It's perfect for carrying your keys from the house to the car, car to the house, especially when your hands are full with kids, bags, purses, groceries, garbage, hats, mitts, scarves, travel mugs, etc. I also love it because I need to have my keys with me at work when I leave my office since I deal with confidential information. And I'm not always wearing pants with pockets, so this means I can keep my keys handy without pockets. Oh, and I hate lanyards, the way they hang out of your pockets. And who ever wears them around their neck? Not with keys, not for me. These are handmade by me and I have a few different sizes, from child-sized to man-hands.
All you have to do is leave a comment naming at least three things you need to carry from your house to your car or your car to your house at the same time. I will choose a winner from the comments received before midnight (Mountain Time) on December 3. Bonus points if you make me laugh. And yes, I will ship internationally.
Make sure to leave me some way to contact you so I can get your address to send your wristlet key fob!
3 things i carry from house to car and car to house:

ReplyDeleteI have to carry 3 kids. Does that count =) ?
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't have a car as I can't drive so I'm even more harassed by the time I've walked home and can't find my keys in the bottom of my impractically huge bag!
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm usually carrying:
1- I huge bag filled with all my usual things...books, notebooks, purse, flask, lunch containers.. you get the idea!
2- An umbrella (It always rains in Scotland, regardless of the season)
3- Groceries. I live with a man who has a crazy appetite and as nominated cook during the working week I have to do meal duty.
Hmmm, depending on the day I'm carrying either:
ReplyDelete1. keys
2. purse
3. totebag AND
4. coffee mug
OR
1. purse
2. dog
3. leash & harness AND
4. newspaper (to read, not cleanup).
Thank you for taking part in the giveaway.

ReplyDeleteHere's what I carry:
1) a coffee cup or dietCoke, which always spills on me espeically when I am wearing WHITE
2) My keys. hint hint
3) My timbuktu bag, which if often heavier than I realize, so it slams against my leg, jostling me to and fro, and spilling my coffee even more.

ReplyDelete1. My 13 month old son!
2. Snacks. Mountains and mountains of snacks to feed 2 children.

ReplyDeleteChristy
ccswch@yahoo.com
every day - purse, coffee mug, carseat. Can I hang a carseat from a laniard?
ReplyDeleteWell, I have no car because I use the lovely German public transport system. Sooo, I'd say the three things would have to be a bus pass (go figure, huh?), my passport because I'm scared poopless of the Polizei, and my keys. Other than that, not much matters. And who needs money, anyway?
ReplyDeleteThree things I carry from the house to my car and car to the house is:
ReplyDelete1 - my 3-year-old's hand.
2 - my keys
3 - my purse.
3 things: purse, lunchbag, briefcase. and it's all i can do to get to the car in one piece!
ReplyDeleteUsually, it's my laptop, my purse and my coffee mug. Usually, a dance bag, groceries and a water bottle are added to the mix!
ReplyDeleteDepending on where I am going or where I am coming from but...off the top of my head:
ReplyDelete1: keys
2: purse
3: flask of whiskey
I'm usually carrying canvas grocery bags, my purse, and at times my knitting, water bottle, etc. etc. I love your wristlet--not only would it be handy as a pocket alternative, it would also greatly facilitate finding ones keys in the bottom of a large purse!
ReplyDeleteNormally, I'm carrying:
ReplyDelete1) My purse
2) My computer
3) My keys (because if they are inside item 1 or item 2 I will never find them and never get to work on time)
4) A wiggly, jiggly handful of jello
Wait.. sorry, I get confused, I mean:
4) The hand of my 3.5 year old son who somehow makes his body appear to be a wiggly, jiggly handful of jello.
Oh my!
ReplyDeleteTo the car:
1. Purse
2. "Bus lane waiting" project
3. Stuff to return to the store (I shop and return a LOT)

3. keys!! hint hint
don't forget our dog and his leash!
Thanks for the chance to win! Happy Holidays! jodym7@yahoo.com
3 things I need to carry to my car, usually parked at least a block away, up hill:
ReplyDelete1. A 35 pound 2-year-old, often kicking and screaming.
2. A diaper/toy/change-of-clothes/snack bag, with my purse shoved in.
3. A cup of coffee so I can keep up this craziness!
It's a miracle I haven't lost my keys--the fob would be such a help!
I've seen these on etsy and really need to do something so I won't lose my keys (ALL THE TIME). So put me in please! :)
ReplyDeleteMy 3 things: my 15 month old son, a diaper bag and coats because we never know what the weather will be like.
Three things? Two iddy-biddy kids and my sanity. Sanity of course would include knowing where my keys are once I reach the door.
ReplyDelete1. My bowling bag sized purse.
ReplyDelete2. My boys' needs. Usually an old bear and pokemon cards.
3. A bowl to catch my morning sickness that hits me all day long.
Thanks for hosting the giveaway!
alright, three things:
ReplyDelete1. baby in his carseat
2. diaper bag
3. groceries
there's more sometimes but since you only said three :)
I don't usually carry much, but maybe groceries and mail and my work bag
ReplyDeleteJust three? Ha ha Just for kicks here is what I carry on any given day lately:
ReplyDelete1 purse chocked full of stuff including two pairs of mittens for the boys. 1 set of keys in hand else they get lost in the volumes of stuff in my purse. My cell phone which I most likely grabbed on the way out of the door. 1 bag of books that are due back to the library. At least 1 type of snack for children who will be hungry the minute they are buckled up. 1 hat from 1 of my boys that didn't take the time to put in on his head and finally an audiobook or cd that we are trying to listen to that particular day.
Whew!
Now that the kids are bigger, all I am responsible for are: keys, wallet, phone. That will all change as I am expecting again and will then be toting at least 30 items to and fro.
ReplyDeletecell, chapstick, and kids!
ReplyDeletecellphone, keys, wallet, mug, and so much more! These are so cute!
ReplyDelete1 - daughter
ReplyDelete2 - diaper bag
3 - keys and grocery list
Three things, eh? Piece of cake..
ReplyDelete1) 18 Month old toddler who *needs* to be carried like ...
2) 8 week old baby in her carseat
3) 2 diaper bags, 1 purse, and whatever bags I have attained from wherever we went in the car, be it groceries, etc etc.
:)
Merry Christmas!

Do I ever carry only 3 things???
ReplyDeleteWell lets see
1. daughter
2. another daughter
3. a bag of mini m&m's because life without chocolate is not doable. It is my cure for screaming kids and traffic =)
Ooh, I could use one of these. So I have to carry: the baby, the baby's diaper bag, the daughter's school bag, my school bag, and usually a few other odds and ends. Up three flights of stairs!
ReplyDeletejust 3... okay
ReplyDelete1- purse (filled with diapers and pullups, snacks, sippy cups, oh.. and my normal purse items)
2- 2 kids
3- blanket and toys for the kids
And for those stressful days... a Dr. Pepper.
What a really neat idea! And they're so pretty too!
ReplyDelete3 things I carry from my house to car/car to house:
1. My canvas grocery totes- obvious empty on the way to the car and full on the way back in :)
2. My wallet- opposite of the grocery bags-- full of money on the way out, empty on the way back in :D
3. My keys, when I remember to walk out the door with them!
Thanks for participating in giveaway day. It's been a fun way to discover blogs I haven't been to before. I've been so inspired today it's hard to sit and look at everything when I just want to get up and create!
Is that big enough to cary my daughter too? lol. I also carry my purse and whatever i bought at the store!
ReplyDeletekamyrensmiles@hotmail.com
Usually my purse, keys, and a wiggling puppy.
ReplyDeleteoh my i've got quite the handful!
ReplyDelete1.) my lunch bag
2.) my oversized way too big purse
3.) my dress shoes for work! (i drive in ballet flats!) and the keys? usually in my teeth!
OK too easy - my 3 kids! And all the crap that comes with them - oops I mean all the stuff they insist on taking TO the car but conveniently forget to take out:) You have no idea how handy your giveaway would be - OK maybe you do - that's why you invented them lol!
ReplyDeleteTo my car? I usually am carrying my purse, SLR camera, and GPS - and then I'm ready for an adventure. I'd love to win your giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI feel like a pack mule to and from the car. There are nonstop groceries, sports equipment and of course forgotten garbage from the kids. My keys are always getting misplaced in the mix..so this is a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I have one of those old fashioned stretchy things to put around my wrist so I don't misplace my keys!
ReplyDeleteI carry my cell phone in one hand, a water bottle in the other hand and my purse tucked under my arm.
3 things I carry:
ReplyDelete1- purse, overflowing with my stuff, stuff for the kids, and hubby's stuff (isn't mom always the packmule?)
2- keys for home, car, and work
3- drinks... usually caffinatedd
4- on my way to work I usually grab my ID card on the way out the door, so it doesn't get lost in pockets or my purse
No way I ever get out of the house carrying less than 3 things!
I don't have any children but I do have books, lunchbag, and backpack plus garage opener that I always carry to and from the house.
ReplyDeleteThe 3 things I always carry are:
ReplyDelete1. My purse
2. A tote bag
3. A book (why I don't put it in my totebag is a mystery to me)
I usually am running late so I have my breakfast and drink and purse in my hand... I would love this! Please count me in. you can reach me at www.dandjsmithfamily.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I'm usually carrying my purse, groceries and and my iPod.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, I couldn't possibly just name three things I carry from my car to my house, or visa versa, or even from car to work and back and such... but I'll try. As for amusing, my life really isn't all that amusing, so I doubt I'll make you laugh. Still, I'll list the more off-the-wall items, I suppose.
ReplyDelete1. knotted and tangled balls of yarn (generally in my craft bag, but sometimes poking half way out if I couldn't manage to get the thing closed)
2. All the various food and drink leave-offs that my fiancee left in the car last time we drove somewhere together
3. what-ever stuffed animal I decide to take with me for the day, because I am a child at heart
This morning it was:
ReplyDelete1. Child w/o shoes because we were running late.
2. The purse with a half broken strap (I should really fix that..maybe tomorrow)
3. Cell phone and keys beacuse if I put it purse I'd never find them
I am imagining family can't enter this contest; so I will ask am I getting one for Christmas?(please!) :)
ReplyDeleteBaby in his car seat, keys, diaper bag - and many time the 2 year old having a meltdown! Cute idea!
ReplyDeleteI carry the diaper bag, my purse, and several water bottles for myself and my kids.
ReplyDeleteI love this and I am forever losing my keys!
ReplyDeleteI bike, so I need my helmet, a bag for the seat if it's raining, lights, and my backpack. I guess that's 4 things.
ReplyDeleteI wish I only had to carry three things! here is what I carry from the house to the car:
ReplyDelete1. an almost two year old
2. a three year old
3. my purse
4. the sling (since it such a short trip to the car, why put anyone in it?)
5. MY KEYS
6. two backpacks for above mentioned children
7. the restocked snack bag for the car rides.
Why am I crazy enough to carry both kids you ask?
Because we are always running late and if they walk to the car it takes an extra ten minutes to look at every blade of grass and cloud in the sky (seriously!). If I pick them up, they ask no questions and we are done!
Love you key fobs!
Wow, those are gorgeous! Thank you for the opportunity to win one!
ReplyDeleteLets see...
I carry a child and all associated accoutrements (diaper bag, sippy cup, stuffed animal, occasionaly rocks and leaves she deems important).
I carry work items (briefcase, papers I grabbed at the last minute and forgot to put in the briefcase, occasionally a laptop, and Excedrin - the most important work item of all!).
And I carry personal items (my purse, phone, tea, sometimes the towel I used to clean up the tea I spilled then forgot to leave in the house, KEYS - well, really, those are usually forgotten until the second trip into the house to retrieve everything I've forgotten).
Hmm...maybe instead of a key fob I need to get rid of stuff. :D

ReplyDeleteMy keys, my mug of coffee or water, and my bag (purse and knitting).

ReplyDeleteDaily I carry a bag, some beverage, and the plan for the day. Nothing super fun, but I do enjoy the give-away!

ReplyDeleteadamandem at yahoo dot com
The baby, the diaper bag and my purse. IF it were up to the baby it would be goldfish, peanut butter and waffles (he'd figure out a way to get to the car himself.)
ReplyDeleteA way to carry the keys without forgetting where i put them by the time I get to the car would be great...
I often carry more than three things at a time, but usually the top three are 1 Charlie (he's the baby) 2 the diaper bag (so I have stuff for the baby) and 3 Clara or Lindy (the 3 and 5 year olds that seem to forget how to walk sometimes).
ReplyDeleteI could sure use one of these.
ReplyDeleteMy keys
My cellphone
My purse
I am always carrying keys, baby girl, and diaper bag - while trying not to let out the dog, fall down the stairs, or set off the car alarm (which I did when baby was only 4 days old! very loud in a garage)

I carry my purse, water bottle, and sometimes a book.
ReplyDeleteI am usually carrying my bag, the diaper bag, the baby and the groceries into the house from the car (minivan actually) all while herding a three year old and a five year old one of whom is usually doing the pee pee dance all the way. When I make into the house, often my husband needs the car and says "where's the keys?" When I tell him I have no idea, he gets so frustrated with me and exclaims, "why can't you ever keep track of your keys!?" Hmmm, gee I don't know!
ReplyDelete3 things: son, daughter...sometimes son and daughter at the same time! kicked off shoes, the diaper bag and my purse! Love the fob...great idea!

Because both my kids insist on walking themselves, I'm the one left to carry, in no particular order:
ReplyDelete1) their drink of choice
2) their blankies
3) the doll they dug out from under their bed for this very special trip to the grocery store.
4) Blankets for the said dolls
5) oh wait... one wants to bring a book too? which just leads to the other having to do the same.
And why am I carrying all of their stuff? Because one insists on carrying my keys while the other insists on carrying my purse. *sigh*
Tea mug, backpack, keys. Plus a lot of other stuff, usually.
ReplyDeleteohhhhh am I really number 200?
